Booking Request

If you wish to book a photo session, please ensure that you have read and understood the basic terms and conditions listed on the Booking Terms page and have also read and understood what is required on the contract shown in the scrollable window below. GENERAL PHOTOGRAPHIC SESSION CONTRACT

(NOTE: This form of contract does not apply to weddings)

The actual contract that applies to the photographic session will be based on the following and will also include the model release form.

Client Details, e.g. Name, address, telephone number and email address

Details of photographic session required, e.g. portrait (individual and/or group), pets, event, venue, date, time, duration.

Maximum Number of Images. Note that the actual number of images produced from a session will vary depending upon the type of session, limitations of the venue (including prevailing weather conditions), co-operation of the client and other participants in the session.

Agreed Cost.

Agreed Payment Date.


As mentioned, it will also be necessary to sign a Model Release Form, elements of which include the following:

Agreed payment to the model (if applicable).

Unconditional permission for the photographer to use the photographs for sales and marketing purposes including publication.

Copyright ownership assigned to the photographer.

Any claims against the photographer relating to any usage of or works derived from the photographs including but not limited to claims for either invasion of privacy or libel will be waived.

Other notes:

If any participants in the photographic session are under 18 years of age then the contract and model release documents must be signed by the parent or legal guardian of each such participant.

The signatory of the contract and model release must have the authority to sign the documents on behalf of any other participants in the photographic session.

If the venue requires special permission or licence for photography then it is the customer's responsibility to obtain such permission or licence and demonstrate this to the satisfaction of the photographer.

Some venues are protected by Copyright law and may not be photographed if those photographs are to be published. It is the customer's responsibility to determine if their chosen venue has such restrictions and to advise the photographer prior to the session taking place.
