Securing your booking:

A non refundable booking fee is required to secure the booking. In most circumstances a contract and a model release form may need to be signed by both parties before the session commences. 

 

Payments:

The basic cost of a session consists of two elements, a non-refundable booking fee and a photographer's fee. The overall cost provided by David Harper Photography will be the sum of these two elements plus any other agreed expenses. 

The non-refundable booking fee is calculated as 40% of the overall cost and must be paid to secure a booking. The photographer's fee must be paid on or before 10 days prior to the session date, unless agreed otherwise with the photographer. Expenses may also be payable in advance dependant upon the nature of the expense. For example, if the photographer needs to book and pay for travel or accommodation in advance of the session then payment for these expenses may also be due. Payment dates will be specified on the contract. All financial transactions will be made by e-Banking unless otherwise agreed with the photographer. (** see cancellation section)

 

Location travel:

All sessions include the cost for travel of up to 15 miles from Stockton-On-Tees to the location. If locations are further afield then expenses may be incurred. 

 

 


Session specifics:

All sessions in excess of 4 hours will include a cumulative break time of 15 minutes per additional hour that will be taken within the overall session time. For example, a session booking of 6 hours would include 30 minutes of break time.

All setting up and/or configuration of equipment required for the session will take place within the contracted session time. For example, setting up the studio lighting, backdrops, props, etc. will be carried out within the session time.

The number of photographs taken per session cannot be predicted or guaranteed, however, every effort will be made to ensure that the requirements of the client are understood prior to the session and have been achieved by the photographer. 

 

Cancellation:

If a booking is cancelled by the photographer then all fees paid by the customer relating to the booking will be refunded. 

If a booking is cancelled by the customer then the booking fee will not be refunded, however, the customer can request a change to the session date provided that (a) there is availability in the photographer's calendar and (b) the requested session date can be accommodated within 3 months of the original session date. If a booking cannot be rescheduled to take place within this 3 month period then a new booking must be made.

If a booking is cancelled by the customer and not rescheduled then any payments made by the customer for the photographer's fee, minus any expenses reasonably incurred by the photographer in anticipation of the booked session taking place, will be refunded.

Photograph Delivery:

On completion of the session, all photographs will be QA checked and all approved photographs will then be uploaded to a password protected client area on myphotopages.co.uk website. Provided that full payment has been made, the photographs will be available on the website for client access for a period of up to 3 months from the session date. The photographs will also be uploaded onto a secure, internet based storage service from where the customer can download them. Note that all photographs from a session will be removed from the client area and internet storage service after 3 months from the session date.

Prints of individual photographs can be purchased using the 'Place an order' link on the secure client area page. Customers use this service at their own risk, however, great care has been taken to connect to well established, reputable, high quality photo-print companies so that orders are fulfilled to the complete satisfaction of the customer. 

If you wish to have a CD/DVD containing your entire collection then this can be arranged at a cost of £25 plus postage. This should be ordered using the contact page.
